Down syndrome question?

It really depends on the level of mental retardation he has and other problems. My brother has Down syndrome and autism so he does hurt people sometimes unintentionally. That is something you should ask the parents though. Ask them if there's something he likes to do or that keeps him happy and busy. For the most part they don't stray unless they see something they life. A lot of them love food and music, so you can try that approach. Overall though, you should just ask his parents because they know him best :)
