45 gallon tank stocking?

NEVER EVER keep all those male cichlids together if you want them to live long. your tank in wayyyy too small for all those fish. you need at least 55Gs for them. all the males will fight 24/7 and nip at each other's fins and you will end up with ugly fish. you should do a 2 to one ratio. 2 females per every male. i know, im sounding harsh but i had a 45 and i put a tonnn of males in there and i learned my lesson the hard way. they may seem small now when you buy them but they WILL grow and then you'll have even more epic battles over territory every day to a point where your fish are ruined
