Which movie do you prefer, the movie that I think was the best of the year or the movie that won best picture?

Your movies are better, the Best Picture award is crap and so are the Oscars in general. Although some of the older ones are worth seeing today's oscars are a politicized mess that aren't even worth acknowledging as relevant. Look at the movies people watch 30 years after they came out and you won't find many oscar winners.
