How do I change my parents mind?

So yesterday I was at a pool party with my parents and we were talking my friend. I asked her what she was up to and she said she was moving into her own . She has Aspergers Syndrome(As do I) and she said it was an Aspergers society meaning that all the residents are on the spectrum. My parents got interested in this and got information from her parents. Last night after we got back from the party they told me I should look in to this. I don't really want to live in a Special place for people with autism because I am extremely high functioning and I think I am capable of living with people who aren't on the spectrum. My parents have this thing that when they hear about one of my friends (especially my friends on the spectrum) they I should do it too and they always manipulate me into doing it. This looks another one of those times. I am looking into moving out but don't to start out in a Special thing for people with Aspergers because it makes me feel less normal. How can I explain this to my parents?
