Military member-can a family member get garnishment by contacting CO?

I am a military member-deployed and just got back in the military about a year ago. Before re-enlistment I had some debt(main reasons of getting back in), a family member went out of her way to pay off a vehicle for us and repay at a lower interest rate. Jobs have been lost over the years and haven't been able to pay. Now she is threatening me and going to send statements to my CO beginning June 15. Were completely aware we owe her the money, just cant afford to pay her. Will they garnish my wages if she contacts my CO?
