I have received a judgement from a credit card bill dating back to 2001 which has trippled.Statue of limitatio?

Yes, credit card debit from 2001,is there no statue of limitations? I requested copies of proof that I still owe this bill and have not received any. The amount has trippled but to top it off I have just recently gotten a job, the lst in the last 15 years. And am buying a used truck for the 1st time in 20 years. Can they attach to it and even worse can they garnish my check? How do I fight this. I mean the statue of limitations for rape is 7 years. We are talking 10 years ago. Thank you.
