Ask the companies where you worked in 2007 for the W-2's. You must attempt to get the W-2's from the companies where you worked in 2007. If you are unable to do so, then after you ask the companies, you call the IRS on the telephone to report the companies for refusing to supply the W-2's that you requested from them. After you do this, the IRS sends you "substitute" forms in the mail. You can use the "substitute" forms to file your tax return without the W-2's. However, you are only allowed to do this after you have asked the employers from the W-2's and given them a reasonable amount of time to respond.
